Dave Drugman has been in the aviation, aerospace and defense industries for almost 40 years providing human resources and staffing support to very large engineering organizations. He has held positions in these organizations ranging from Sector Employment Director to Vice President Human Resources in such companies as Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, TRW/Northrop Grumman, Garrett AiResearch, and Honda Aircraft Company. Dave has substantial experience in large, international corporations, as well as doing two business jet startups. He is currently the Vice President of Executive Search for Strom Aviation, a staffing solutions provider for the aviation industry since 1992.

He ran his own consulting firm providing HR and recruiting support to such companies as Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, Allied Signal, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Hughes Aircraft Company, Rockwell, FedEx, Aviation Technology Group, Snow Aviation, Honda Research & Development, Atlantic-Aero, the US Air Force and the National Security Agency.

Dave has personally provided both HR counseling and recruiting/staffing support to numerous notable executives including a former NASA Administrator; a Secretary of the Navy; an Assistant Secretary of Defense for Information Integration; and a Director of the National Security Agency. He has been officially recognized by the US Government for staffing efforts made on behalf of critical, classified national security programs.

He has been an active member of several industry organizations supporting the aviation community such as the Florida Aviation Trades Association, the Florida Aviation and Aerospace Alliance, the Southeastern Small Aircraft Transportation Systems Lab Consortium (SATS), National Aviation Consortium – National Industry Council, board member of the Consortium for Aviation Systems Advancement, Co-chair of the North Carolina Governor’s Aerospace Initiative on Workforce Development and is currently Vice Chairman of NC Aerospace Inc. He has held TS+ clearances based on Extensive Background Investigations since his military service and throughout most of his career. He is a commercial pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
