David Glassner – International Transaction Negotiation and Implementation
David Glassner is a highly experienced international business aviation executive with specific expertise in Central and Eastern Europe, Brazil and Latin America. He has proven expertise in contract negotiation, cross-border leasing, the import and export of large-ticket products, due diligence, project management, customer relationship management, and the successful conclusion of complicated international transactions.
With Cessna Aircraft Company, while based in Vienna, Austria, David was responsible for Citation business jet sales in a region that included 18 nations of Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Previously, he served as Director, International Finance, with Cessna Finance Corporation, the financing affiliate of Cessna Aircraft Company. During that time he directed a staff which managed a US$ 9-digit portfolio of loans and leases along all of Cessna’s product lines to customers in more than 60 countries.
Prior to joining Cessna Finance Corporation, David served as International Trade Representative with the Trade Development Division of the Kansas Department of Commerce.
He also served as a U.S. diplomat under military service with the U.S. Navy, engaged in nuclear weapons disarmament inspection activities in the Soviet Union, Eastern and Western Europe, and the United States.
Fluent in Portuguese and Russian, David also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kansas World Trade Center and as an Officer of the World Trade Council of Wichita.
