Glenn N. Pomerance, M.D. – Aviation Medicine, Ophthalmologist, Eye Surgeon
Glenn Pomerance has practiced aviation medicine and ophthalmology for more than three decades. He received his training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and served in a number of senior level positions in the U.S. Army including Chief of General Medicine at the Army Health Clinic in the Pentagon and Chief of Ophthalmology at Martin Army Hospital at Ft. Benning, Georgia.
Glenn has also served as a faculty member at Emory University School of Medicine and Eastern Virginia College of Medicine. He is a pilot and currently has a Private Clinical Practice of Ophthalmology in Chattanooga, Tennessee serving as Section Chief of Ophthalmology at Parkridge Medical System.
He holds an A.B. from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY and an M.D. from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, also in NY. Glenn was appointed a Clinical Fellow in Ophthalmology at the International Eye Foundation in Lima, Peru.
He has also served as a Federal Aviation Administration Aviation Medical Examiner.
